Since early childhood Joyce Freedman’s fascination
with puzzles has grown into a lifelong pursuit. Freedman began her artistic career as a ceramicist and later as an architect
working in various mediums. In her new innovative work, Freedman combines her talent for puzzles of all kinds coupled with
her artistry with clay creating these magnificent one of a kind pieces of sculptural puzzle art. A unique art form, every
work presents a new design, dimension and strategy for combining the pieces. These whimsical works are designed to be inviting
and interactive. Each puzzle is numbered and signed by the artist, individually hand-crafted in fine porcelain using high-fired
glazes.
